| Beer should be stored in a cool and dark place, frost-free and stored in a dry and odorless refrigerator. Unlike standard refrigerators which fluctuate in temperature as different products are continuously introduced to the environment, or wine coolers which do not chill keg beer to the proper temperature. EdgeStar kegerators offer the ideal refrigerated storage, keeping your keg beer tasting as if it had never left the brewery. |

| Commercial grade components |
| EdgeStar's full sized kegerator use USA-made, NSF approved commercial beer components. All beer components (American Sankey tap, faucet, beer lines, etc.) are American-made, commercial grade, and NSF approved for commercial use. In fact, if you enjoy beer from a pub or bar, some of their beer components may have rolled off the same assembly line as those included in our unit!
Additionally, many low-end kegerators skimp on the components, causing beer delivery problems (excess foam, etc.) and upgrade problems (e.g., the handles are non-standard). EdgeStar's home kegerator accepts all standard upgrades with no hassles!
Note that the KC2000 home kegerator ships with an American Sankey tap, which fits the most popular keg types. Any other standard tap will work with the keg components (for example, this European Coupler). |
