| Fast Dry Time with less wrinkling- Run more loads per day

EdgeStar washer dryer combos have been tested against every other model out
there and they dry significantly faster, with less wrinkling. In fact, most
test loads dried in 60 to 90 minutes. For comparison, some of the same loads
were tested in a competing combination washer dryer, and they took 15% - 25%
longer to dry!
Our secret is simple: better design. All ventless combination washer dryers
utilize a condensation chamber to help expel moisture from the machine. Our
models route the hot moist air from the drying process into a separate
condensation chamber resulting in more efficient ventless drying - and no
moisture is released in the surrounding area. Of course, the above only applies
to our ventless models (CW1200
and CW2200.) However,
our vented model (CW1210V) shares the following innovations with the ventless
models:
We have made other design optimizations that are missing in the competition.
For example, most combination washer dryers blow hot air straight down at the
door during the dry cycle. Our washer dryer combos actually blow the hot air
directly into the drum, where it can do the most good. Our models also have a
large blower, capable of forcing 30 cubic feet of hot air through the drum
every minute, plus EdgeStar combo washer dryers offer variable agitation speeds
during the dry cycle, resulting in better heat distribution.
EdgeStar washer dryer combos offer a maximum spin of 1200 rpm (models
CW1210V and CW2200)
or 1000 rpm (model CW1200.)
These spin speeds are designed to extract the most water possible from clothes
without increasing the appearance of wrinkles.
A faster dry time means you have less time to wait for fresh, clean clothes.
You can run more loads per day - or just enjoy a faster wash and dry cycle and
less ironing time! |

| Internal Water Heater - Better wash performance and
simplified installation |
The fast dry time is one of the great innovations in EdgeStar
combination washer dryers, but it's far from the only one. EdgeStar washer
dryers also have internal water heaters - enabling more precise control over
wash temperatures and better cleaning performance than other washer dryers.
Though some other washer dryer combinations also offer internal water heaters,
these heaters are essentially "booster heaters". Our powerful
internal water heater actually heats water for all warm or hot water washes
inside the machine - there is only one water inlet!
In addition to simplifying installation, this means that the EdgeStar washer
dryer combination can actually run true hot water washes. Most combination
washer dryers have to rely on the temperature of the water supplied to the
machine. This can be a dicey proposition, since much of the water entering the
machine has likely been sitting in the pipes for a while- long enough for
“hot” water to cool down to room temperature! The internal water
heaters on EdgeStar washer dryers make sure that this problem never occurs. |

| EdgeStar washer dryer combos have been specifically designed
for the busy lifestyles and often cramped quarters experienced by many of our
customers. With these things in mind, all EdgeStar washer dryers accept a
portability kit- allowing them to roll to a sink to run the wash! A standard
portability kit for an EdgeStar washer dryer combo includes a faucet adapter
and four casters. Simply install the casters on the bottom of the unit, and you
can store it out of the way when it is not in use. The faucet adapter enables
you to run wash loads with water from your kitchen sink (and draining down the
sink drain.) These options make EdgeStar washer dryer combos among the most
versatile on the market. |
